Top 20 Worst Lyrics of All Time

PlayOnLyrics.com has posted their list of the 20 Worst Lyrics of all time, and while I don’t agree with all of them, I have to say they did a pretty good job pointing out some garbage songs. The highlight for me is “Muskrat Love”

Muskrat Susie,
Muskrat Sam
Do the jitterbug
out in muskrat land
And they shimmy
And Sammy’s so skinny
And they didn’t wing this. They actually wrote it down. With a straight face.

I think the list is pretty good. But how can Muskrat Love not be #1? I mean it is hands down the most excruciatingly painful song of the 70’s. The only question is which version is worse. The Captain & Tenielle recording or the more widely known version by America.

The again crap is crap no matter which way you present it.

Nibblin’ on bacon, chewin’ on cheese…….

I mean seriously these lyrics are so bad you can’t forget them. How sick is that!
