A Spin-off for Heroes?

Apparently the sneaky bastards over at NBC have been been developing a spin-off on Heroes, focusing on different “special people”, which will take over Heroes‘ timeslot in September for six episodes. This lets the struggling network stretch one of their most successful franchises to 30 episodes.

According to the Associated Press, the series will be called Heroes: Origins, and will introduce a new character each week. At the end of the series viewers will vote on their favorite character and that character will be added to the main series.
