Stumbled across this video of Ben Folds improving a song based on an unintelligible yell from the audience. Amazing! Folds often does improvisational versions of “Rock this Bitch” during his shows (including the show I saw him perform with the Baltimore Symphony), and he works a little of that into this performance, but most of it seems to be original. And one verse is in German! I laughed, I cried, it was better than Cats.
