Plinko-master Bob Barker taped his final episode of The Price is Right (daytime tv’s most awesomest gameshow) on Wednesday, finishing a 50-year television career. A lot of things have happened since Bob started in 1957:
- Fidel Castro seized control of Cuba. Thousands of Americans have become criminals smuggling Cuban cigars into the country
- Nine US Presidents have served. Two were shot. One was assassinated. One was impeached. One resigned
- In a related note, ketchup became a vegetable
- The personal computer was developed, leading to the internet, and of course readily accessible porn
- America’s typical TV dad change from Ward Cleaver to Homer Simpson
- I skipped too many college classes to count in order to watch The Price is Right
Adios Bob. And because someone had to say it, “The price is wrong, Bitch”.

Awww hell how am I kidding it was the reruns of Northern Exposure and all that drinking in addition to TPIR!!! Yeah that’s it I’m blaming the booze!
