Letterman has negotiated his own deal with the WGA so his writers (and the ones for network mate Craig Ferguson) get to come back to work on January 2nd. Letterman and his production company Worldwide Pants worked for the last two weeks to hammer out an agreement. So like Leno, Kimmel, and Conan, Letterman will come back on the 2nd.
