I’m not 100% sure why anyone should care about this, but Billboard is reporting that The Police are considering a reunion tour of England and the US for 2007. This would be the band’s first tour together since the Syncronicty tour in 1983. I know I can’t wait for the band that penned “A doo doo doo, a da da da, is all I have to say to you” to get back together.
Ok, I’m being a bit harsh. I actually do like some of their music. But come on. You haven’t toured together in 23 years. Are you expecting magic when you hit the stage again? I’m really baffled that ol’ Gordo would want to do this. If you could have sex for hours on end, why the hell would you want to tour with guys you haven’t seen in 23 years? Then again, I don’t understand why he’s been making pseudo-light-jazz-pop-pablum for years either.
