The New KITT is a Mustang (with pics)

KITT, from the new Knight Rider, is a Shelby Mustang
The role of KITT in the new Knight Rider movie and series won’t be played by a Pontiac like the original. Instead it will be a Shelby GT500KR Mustang. Jalopnik not only has the news, but they have actual pictures of the car.

The new Knight Rider is coming to NBC in 2008 as a made-for-tv movie. If that does well the network will pick it up for a series, sans Hasselhoff.

I’m happy to see any post related to Knight Rider.

I also like the look of the new Mustangs. But no pontiac and no hoff I’m not sure this will work. Maybe the Mustang is Karr.
