There are some songs that just seem to follow you around in life. For me Van Halen’s “Hot for Teacher” is certainly one of them. The video was one of the first ones I remember seeing on MTV. It popped up again in an incredibly memorable scene in Varsity Blues (a movie I enjoy so much I named one of my fantasy football teams the West Canaan Coyotes). Then one of my friends and his bride entered their wedding reception to the song (she’s a teacher, so it kind of makes sense). Most recently the song has been tormenting me in Guitar Hero World Tour. But tonight I finally conquered it, so to celebrate here’s the classic video:
