Random Cover of the Week – Carrie Underwood ROCKS Guns n’ Roses

I’ve always admired Carrie Underwood more for her looks than her music. She’s got a great voice, but her usual choice of songs doesn’t do anything for me. But right now I’m in the middle of reading Slash’s autobiography, and consequentially on a big GNR kick. And coincidentally I ran across this video of Carrie admirably covering “November Rain”, then absolutely rocking “Paradise City”. Seriously. Turns out Carrie Underpants is a closet rocker chick. Kick ass.

That’s actually a really good cover of both songs. Wish she’d gone deeper into November Rain though. That’s a tough song to cover. And it goes without saying…… She’s HOT

Wow, that was pretty damn good. I also wish she did more of November Rain, but she totally rocked Paradise City.

sean, what you may not realize (and most don’t) is that Carrie was SICK when she performed this.

BTW, I am jeff. she was coughing quite a bit in between songs. makes the performance even more mind blowing
