On the surface it sounds like the kind of movie that Robert Downey, Jr.’s character in Tropic Thunder was meant to satirize: sentimental stories of handicapped people with hidden talents. But looking past the surface, The Soloist might actually be a good movie. It stars Downey, Jr. and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, so you it can’t be too bad, right? Check out the trailer:
