Oliver Stone certainly isn’t the type of director to back down from a challenge or shrink from controversy. So it’s pretty fitting that for his next movie he’s taking on his second unpopular president. This October we’ll get to see Josh Brolin’s portrayal of George W. Bush in Stone’s W.. It’s been 13 years since he gave his perspective on Richard Nixon, but from the first trailer it doesn’t look like he’s softened any.
W. hits theaters October 17th.
