Sunday Music Spotlight alum The Alan Cohen Experience is back with a new album. The eponymous album is due out November 4th, and it represents a giant musical step forward. It’s a follow up to the concept album Revolutions, and while it’s only six tracks long it packs a wide variety of punches. With fuller arrangements than on Revolutions Cohen and his Orchestra of Personality showcase their familiarity and comfort with a myriad of musical styles.

Lyrically tackling the weighty topics of space travel and evolution vs. design, musically reminiscent of 70s guitar rock, “Space Watch” is a unique song. I really dig the guitar part over the choruses.

A song that showcases the funky side of The Alan Cohen Experience. Any use of a wah pedal is good use in my book.
