‹ Friday Night Video – Edie Brickell & The New Bohemians – “What I Am” •

Now here’s something you don’t see everyday: A rapper promoting the latest single from a Swedish pop group. Kanye West apparently got familiar with Peter, Björn, and John’s music when he remixed/sampled their song “Young Folks”, and they Swedes liked it so much they sent him their new song “Nothing to Worry About” before it was released. And he liked it so much he released it exclusively on his blog. And, for possibly the first time ever, I agree with Kanye, the song kicks ass. It’s very different from “Young Folks”, but it’s got a catchy hook with a distorted group of kids singing, and a great beat. What do you think?
