‹ Australian Magician’s Tribute to Arrested Development •
Not everyone likes Paul Simon. Hell, I’m not a big fan myself. But you do have to admit that the guy writes a great song. Just look at the man’s resume: “The Boxer”, “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover”, “Me & Julio Down By The Schoolyard”, the list goes on and on. So it’s kind of surprising there aren’t a ton of good Paul Simon covers out there. Here’s one that works though. Sunday Music Spotlight alum Deer Tick interprets “Still Crazy After All These Years”, sounding a bit like Dr. John. Despite the fact that it was done in the last few weeks it sounds timeless. Really, really good stuff.
