It’s hard to believe it’s been 14 years since the original Toy Story came out, and it’s amazing how well the computer animation holds up to today’s standards. But it’s not the animation that makes Toy Story a great movie; it’s the story. It’s a classic tale of friendship, how relationships change over time, and Mr. Potato Head. Toy Story 2 was also surprisingly good, proving that Pixar isn’t just focused on making movies that make a buck, but on making good movies that make a lot of bucks. Keeping that trend alive, they’re setting up to release Toy Story 3 next summer. This time the gang of toys is shipped off to a local day-care center, and need to bust themselves out. Check out the traierl:
Toy Story 3 comes to theaters June 18th, 2010.
