I don’t care what the plot of the movie is; if you put Adam Sandler, Seth Rogan, and Jonah Hill in a movie, then have Judd Apatow write and direct it, I’m going to be there. That’s the exact situation for Funny People. Sandler stars as a standup comic with a terminal illness. He hires Rogan as a joke writer and prepares to die. Then a funny thing happens: he gets better. With a new outlook on life he sets his sights on the girl who got away, despite the fact that she’s married. Sounds good to me. Check out the trailer below:
